Eatery Updates: Hawaiian Bros, Huey Magoo’s and Nathan’s Famous

Recent restaurant openings by a trio of fast-growing chains.

Here are the latest locales from three restaurant chains:

* Hawaiian Bros (Kansas City, Mo.) has opened a restaurant in Glenwood, Ill., which is about 30 miles south of Chicago. Known for its island-inspired plate lunch, the chain has 70-plus locales, including five others in Illinois.

* Huey Magoo’s (Orlando) has debuted in North Miami, Fla. The latest restaurant is the chicken tenders chain’s 86th overall and one of nearly 40 in its home state.

* Nathan’s Famous (Jericho, N.Y.) has taken the wraps off its second restaurant in Tucson. The chain, whose offerings include hot dogs and hamburgers, now has 42 locations in Arizona, 160 total in the U.S. and 90 more in nearly 20 other countries.
