RCS Real Estate Advisors (New York) announced it has been hired to market 174 Eddie Bauer LLC store leases throughout the U.S. and Canada as part of the outdoor retailer’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. The spaces involved consists of 150 locations across 40 U.S. states and 24 locations across six Canadian provinces, available in variety of footprints in malls, lifestyle centers and high-traffic retail corridors, the advisor said in a news release.

The available stores “average about 6300 square feet and are located in strong retail markets including California, Pennsylvania, Washington, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New York, Michigan and New Jersey, among others,” RCS noted. “The portfolio offers a range of opportunities for expanding retailers, off-price operators, specialty concepts and emerging brands seeking turnkey space with existing buildout in established shopping destinations. Many locations benefit from strong co-tenancy, regional mall positioning and proximity to national anchors.”

Detailed property information, lease terms and bid procedures will be made available to qualified parties upon request to RSC. Note: Eddie Bauer’s retail stores outside of the U.S. and Canada are operated by other licensees and are not part of the Chapter 11 filings.
