Ferrari Opens London Flagship

FERRARI (MODENA, ITALY), KNOWN FOR ITS presence in luxury cars and Formula One racing, is expanding its lifestyle and fashion brand with its new flagship in London.

The interior of the flagship features the aesthetics of modern industrial design, a stark contrast to its exterior, which preserves the historic Queen Anne style of the building, dating back to 1905. Inside the flagship, metal and concrete create the sleek architectural lines of the store, while the brand’s signature red is emphasized through red leather seating and plush rugs, framed with floor-to-ceiling windows inspired by art galleries. Aluminum and glass were used in the store’s displays to evoke Ferrari’s dedication to craftsmanship. 

The flagship spans 9150 square feet over three floors and is the first location for its lifestyle brand outside Italy, located on London’s prestigious retail corridor of Old Bond Street. Designed by Ferrari Lifestyle’s creative director, Rocco Iannone, along with architecture firm, Gonzalez Haase AAS (Berlin) and design studio, Formafantasma (Milan) the overall design was inspired by “Officina,” a concept Ferrari has crafted to mean a workshop, laboratory and hub for artistry and creativity.

With its opening, the flagship is neighbors with Cartier, Prada and Tiffany & Co., solidifying that Ferrari’s future is not only on the race track, but also on historic fashion corridors.
