Department store wins advertising honors at RAC

Published

Marshall Field’s, the department store division of Target Corp. (Minneapolis), was honored by the Retail Advertising & Marketing Association (RAMA) for outstanding achievement and creativity in retail advertising and marketing.

The announcement came during an awards dinner at RAMA’s annual Retail Advertising Conference (RAC) in Chicago.

Field’s multi-media campaign, “State Street Renaissance,” accompanied the top-to-bottom renovation of its historic flagship store in Chicago’s Loop. The judges were advertising executives in the retail industry.

The renovation of the 10-story, 800,000-square-foot store is the cover story in the March issue of VM+SD, part of an editorial package that examines the state of the department store retail sector.
