Elkus Manfredi Architects (Boston) was honored by the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS). Its new InterContinental Hotel in Boston was named Hotel Development of the Year at the annual ALIS meeting in Los Angeles.

Elkus Manfredi was the architect for the $310 million waterfront project consisting of 424 guest rooms and suites, 130 condominiums, meeting and private event spaces and spa.

“We are proud to have been a partner with InterContinental Hotels and Extell Development in creating this flagship property — that plays such an important role in the development of 21st Century Boston — at the heart of the city’s new Greenway and Seaport districts,” said principal in charge Howard Elkus.

Elkus Manfredi was the master planner and designer of New York’s Shops at Columbus Circle.
