Ann Taylor brought its shoppers into “Ann’s Home at the Holidays,” where velvet draperies, satin fringe and antiqued mirrors were at home alongside sequined party dresses, ball gowns, candles and silver frames.

“A home setting provided us with two opportunities,” says Victor Johnson, the specialty retailer's senior manager of visual presentation. “First, the polished, mirrored and silver-leafed trim created an elegant backdrop for occasion apparel early in the season, while furniture pieces provided venues for showcasing gift items such as accessories, jewelry, candles and frames as the season progressed.”

The holiday program was finessed to accommodate different storefronts at Ann Taylor stores throughout the country.

“Holiday windows provide the ultimate showcase for a retailer's most important merchandise all year, while allowing an opportunity to highlight an iconic vision of the brand for a wide audience,” says Johnson.
