The Home Depot Canada has named Aaron Carmack, current regional vp of the Pac North region in the U.S., as president. Carmack replaces Annette Verschuren, who is leaving the home improvement retailer after nearly 15 years.

Carmack, a 23-year retail veteran, will oversee the company’s 179 Canadian stores. He joined Home Depot in 2003 and was promoted to regional vp in March 2007.
