New Zealand-based specialty apparel company Icebreaker will open a store in San Francisco this month. The 1600-square-foot location, at 170 Post Street, will carry the brand’s complete line of merino wool apparel for outdoor activities.

By spring, the unit will be converted into a TouchLab store, which enables shoppers to touch raw merino fiber and the various weights of Icebreaker apparel, reports Women’s Wear Daily. “People in San Francisco love the outdoors and have a great appreciation for nature and natural products, so this area is the perfect location for our newest TouchLab,” founder and ceo Jeremy Moon told WWD.

The company operates a flagship in New York along with TouchLab stores in Portland, Ore., Vancouver and Montreal.
