Interactive Workshop: The Power of “And”

CallisonRTKL’s Joan Insel explores the idea of juxtaposing two seemingly disparate concepts to yield an unconventional, yet innovative, solution.




Retail today is about mash-ups and hybrid solutions, from barber shops with baristas to laundromats with lounges. During this interactive session, teams will be asked to randomly select two words; they will then create a retail solution, complete with name, look and feel. Teams will present their solutions which will be voted on to identify the winning concept.
