Here are a trio of announcements by retailers from around the globe:

• Powersports brand BRP (Valcourt, Que.) has opened a flagship store in Paris. The 1550-square-foot space, being operated in partnership with Canadian Motors, is at 8 Boulevard du Montparnasse. “The new store is set to offer an innovative and immersive brand experience in an exclusive setting,” the company said in a news release. BRP sells high-performance motorcycles and tri-wheelers by Can-Am, as well as Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles, Sea-Doo watercraft and pontoons and Rotax engines for karts and recreational aircraft.

Central Restaurants (Calgary, Alb.) will open a new restaurant/bar on July 3 on the Ossington strip in downtown Toronto. Dubbed the Central Ossington and designed by Way of Normal (Alberta), the 3000-square-foot space “pairs street-style edge with vintage charm,” the company said in a news release. Central currently operates two other restaurants (in Calgary and Vancouver, B.C.) with a second set to open soon in its hometown.

Tokyo Lifestyle Co. Ltd. (Tokyo) has unveiled plans to open its first store in Vietnam, in Ho Chi Minh City. The retailer of Japanese beauty and health products, sundries, luxury items and electronics, said its latest store will open in July on the city’s high-profile Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street. “We believe that Vietnam’s dynamic economy has increasingly drawn the attention of the global retail industry in recent years, and Ho Chi Minh City has emerged as a showcase stage for international brands and retailers,” said Mei Kanayama, Principal Executive Officer of Tokyo Lifestyle, which has directly owned and franchise stores in Hong Kong, Japan, North America, Thailand and the United Kingdom.
