Chairman and ceo receives new employment agreement; current pact would have expired at the end of the year

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (New Albany, Ohio) has entered into a new employment agreement with chairman and ceo Michael Jeffries.

Jeffries, who has been running the retailer since 1992 – when it was part of Limited Brands Inc. (Columbus, Ohio) – had his current employment agreement scheduled to expire on Dec. 31, 2008. The new agreement runs to Feb. 1, 2014.
