Ken Poston Joins AGI

Had headed store planning at Saks Inc.

Veteran store planner Ken Poston has been hired by Architectural Group International Inc. (Covington, Ky.) as studio director in the architecure and design firm’s Dallas office.

Poston had most recently been vp, store planning and design, for Saks Inc. (Birmingham, Ala.), managing all phases of store planning and design, from block planning through construction documentation, for the company’s Department Store Group (which included Parisians, Proffitt’s McRae’s, Younker’s, Herberger’s and Carson Pirie Scott). Prior to Saks, Poston was manager of store planning for Rich’s Department Stores (Atlanta-based division of Federated Department Stores) and store planning project manager for JC Penney Co. Inc. (Plano, Texas).
