(PRESS RELEASE) WAUKEGAN, IL — Kinter, America’s number one rated retail display hardware provider, announced the opening of its new 112,000-square-foot facility located at 3211 Oak Grove Avenue in Waukegan, Illinois. The new facility will allow for further expansion of Kinter’s campus, made up of three buildings that serve as the company’s worldwide headquarters, including leadership team and administrative functions, research and development, engineering, design and 3D prototyping, and product supply storage and fulfillment.

“Since our company’s inception over 43 years ago, we’ve experienced various stages and trajectories of growth,” said Paul White, president of Kinter. “In recent years, the continued expansion of our advanced facilities, manufacturing capabilities, and partner relationships in North America and overseas has allowed our company to continue to grow and manage challenges during any economic condition. The opening of our newest facility increases our capacity and reflects our commitment to helping solve customer’s problems, regardless of project size.”

Kinter has experienced significant growth and facility expansion in the last ten years. In 2012, the company moved its headquarters from Gurnee, Illinois, to a new 115,000-square-foot facility on Oak Grove Avenue in Waukegan. In 2018, further expansion resulted in the building of a 75,000-square-foot facility designed and constructed from the ground up located on the same street as the company headquarters, and is now used solely for warehousing, storage, and distribution. The newest facility at 3211 Oak Grove Avenue incorporates 95,000 square feet of warehouse space and an additional 17,000 square feet for office expansion and additional team members.

White added, “We are a family business committed to treating our team members and customers like family. Our philosophy is based on the term ‘Solved’ because regardless of the challenge, we will do everything in our power to get it done right. As we’ve facilitated sustained growth over the years, we remain dedicated to going above and beyond – and that includes maintaining the capacity to overstock products, so our customers are never left in a bind.”

This year, another area of expansion for Kinter will be the addition of an engineering lab currently under construction in the company’s headquarters building. The lab will act as an innovation center, supporting customers who need custom-engineered solutions and 3-D printed prototype validation.

Since 2018, Kinter has expanded its workforce by more than 50 percent, and a significant number of team members have marked tenures longer than 15 years. Kinter will continue hiring initiatives into 2023 with competitive pay and benefits packages that include comprehensive health coverage, pension, and more.
