Kohl’s (Menomonee Falls. Wis.) has unveiled its plans for the holiday shopping season that are designed “to deliver more gifts at affordable prices, an inspiring shopping experience featuring new in-store curations and value all season long, with new deals every week throughout November and December,” it said in a news release.

New initiatives this year include Kohl’s Value Gift Shop, which features stocking stuffers and grab-and-go gifts, with the majority offered under $5. Kohl’s also said its stores will have more curated gifting displays throughout the store and gift sets across categories. This includes more Sephora at Kohl’s gift sets, jewelry gifts under $25, and toys starting at $5.99.

In addition, the chain — which operates about 1200 stores — is beefing up its seasonal decor offerings, including front-of-store positioning for such goods and a new in-store Kohl’s Tree Farm featuring an expanded assortment of trees, ornaments, lighting, inflatables, and more.

Customers will also find more pet, tech/electronics, personal care/wellness, kitchen electrics and novelty gifts. Plus, for the first time this holiday, Babies“R”Us at Kohl’s, in 200 stores nationwide and on Kohls.com, offers an entirely new assortment of baby gear.

“Kohl’s understands how busy the holiday season is for families, so we’re ready to help with everything they need to prepare and celebrate from decorating to gifting and hosting,” said Chief Merchandising Officer Nick Jones. “Our expanded assortment across categories further positions Kohl’s as a destination for gifting at great prices.”
