Kroger Offers Online Ordering

Service debuts in Cincinnati

Kroger Co. (Cincinnati, Ohio) has announced that it is now offering Cincinnati customers the option of ordering groceries online and picking them up at their local store, reports Cincinnati Business Courier.

Currently, there is only one store where the pick-up service is available, but the company hopes to expand it to other stores in the area and eventually to other U.S. regions. To test the service, the company initially launched the program as a service only available to employees at that location.

Customers can go to Kroger’s website and select from more than 40,000 products, including fresh meat and produce. They can place their order online, select when they want to pick up their order, and have the items delivered to their car and loaded curbside, at which point they will pay for the order.
