L. L. Bean Set to Open First Vermont Locale

L. L. Bean (Freeport, Maine) is set to open its first store in Vermont’s Burlington Town Center in October 2014 with a 3-day celebration, according to a press release.

The store, set to be 18,290 square feet will employ approximately 100 people. Two levels will showcase casual and active apparel and footwear. This will be the company’s 20th retail location outside of its home state of Maine and the first ever in Vermont.
