Landor & Fitch Names Joe Crump Executive Strategy Director of Experience, Americas

He will oversee the team across the Americas.

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK – Landor & Fitch, the global brand transformation company, announces the appointment of Joe Crump as executive strategy director of experience, Americas. Based in New York City, Crump will lead the company’s Experience Strategy Practice, where he will oversee the team across the Americas. He will also focus on new business development and organic growth.

Crump has a proven track record of building breakthrough brand experiences based on digital innovation, design thinking, and the power of diverse teams to drive innovation and competitive advantage. In his role at Landor & Fitch in the Americas, Crump will help grow long-term client relationships and expand the capabilities of experience strategy offerings across the region.

Previously, as CEO of Wunderman Thompson New York, Crump launched the agency’s first Customer Experience Center of Excellence in North America, designing journey-based products and experiences for brands including Walmart, VW, and Verizon. In 2019 he created the industry’s first Inclusive Experience Design (IXD) practice, focused on designing products and brand experiences for people of all physical and cognitive abilities.


Crump also spent 17 years as a leader at Razorfish where he launched the Product and Service Innovation Practice, helping the agency’s largest clients use emerging technology to invent breakthrough products and experiences. Outside of work, Crump gives keynote speeches around the world, including TED, Cannes, and the 3% Conference. Based on his achievements as a digital innovator, he was inducted into the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and sits on its Executive Committee.
