Lowe’s (Mooresville, N.C.) and Instacart (San Francisco) are partnering to offer same-day delivery through the Instacart app for approximately 20,000 Lowe’s items, according to a press release. For now, the option is only available to customers in Charlotte, N.C., and Boston, with plans to expand the offering further in the coming months.

Items customers can order from Lowe’s through Instacart include appliances, home goods, building supplies and more.

Mike Shady, Lowe’s Senior VP of Online, says, “Online is a key piece of our omnichannel strategy, and the combination of Lowe’s home improvement expertise and Instacart’s ability to delivery right to your door within hours offers a new, convenient way to shop. As we explore a suite of solutions to meet our customers’ same-day and next-day delivery needs, this partnership is enhancing the customer experience and providing the choices today’s customers demand.”

Lowe’s is the first home improvement retailer to partner with Instacart.
