Managing Polo

Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. announced today that Russ LoCurto has been named senior vp of global logistics, effective early September. In his position, LoCurto will be responsible for distribution, transportation, purchasing, telecommunications, facilities management and maintenance, as well as responsible for the development and implementation of an integrated supply chain management solution. He will report directly to president and ceo Roger Farah.

Before joining Polo Ralph Lauren, LoCurto had been vp of operations for UrbanFetch.com. Prior to that he was director of supply chain management for Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc., and was also senior vp of operations during a 21-year stint at Saks Fifth Avenue.
