Marvin Grant Dies

Los Angeles display industry veteran was 82

Marvin Grant, a Los Angeles native whose career in the retail display industry spanned more than 40 years, died August 11 in San Diego. He was 82.

After serving in the Navy during World War II, Grant entered the retail display industry by going to work for his father, Victor Grant, at Grant & Sons in Los Angeles. He later ran his own company and served as a manufacturer's representative, primarily for Decter Mannequin, calling on major department stores and retailers on the West Coast.
