Media Registration Now Open for Dwell On Design New York

Largest Design Show in the U.S. expands to New York with three-day think tank and adds Daniel Libeskind, Caroline Baumann, Chip Conley, and Barry Svigals to its roster of featured speakers

WHAT: Registration is now open to journalists planning to attend Dwell on Design NY (DODNY), a three-day think tank with architecture and design industry thought leaders, taking place at 82Mercer in SoHo on October 9-11, 2014. 

WHO: DODNY is pleased to add three distinguished speakers to its program: Daniel Libeskind, internationally renowned architect and designer of the World Trade Center master plan, will give the keynote speech on Thursday, October 9 at 5 pm. Caroline Baumann, Director, Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, will share the details of the museum's recent renovation and discuss the ultimate home makeover, Chip Conley from Airbnb will speak on the hospitality panel, and Barry Svigals, FAIA, an expert in what he calls “creative engagement” and the architect of the new Sandy Hook Elementary School, will speak to the topic of the architecture of loss.
