Microsoft Corp. (Redmond, Wash.) is planning a store at Lenox Square in Atlanta, reports the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

The 7,900-square-foot store is expected to open in April 2011 on the first floor of the Buckhead mall, in a former Mark Shale space.

The location will mark the eight Microsoft store, since the computer retailer made its retail debut a year ago in Scottsdale, Ariz. Stores are set to open near Minneapolis and Seattle in November.
