Miniso (Guangzhou, China), an expanding purveyor of branded stuffies and other collectibles, has opened three stores in recent weeks. Those spaces are in:

* Sydney, Australia, where it opened a Miniso Land locale in the Westfield Chatswood shopping center. The 8600-square-foot store houses several product zones and immersive themed zones, including a dedicated area for the newly launched Disney’s Zootopia 2-inspired collection, complemented by window displays and outdoor LED screens.

* Dusseldorf, Germany, where it unveiled a 5400-square-foot-store on Flinger Straße, a historic and high-traffic district. The store offers IP-themed zones, including a 7-foot-tall Stitch figure, a blind-box wall and co-branded displays.

* Milan, Italy, where it debuted on the city’s Corso Buenos Aires shopping street. (No square footage was provided for this site.) The store’s offering includes licensed IPs from China and around the world, including fan favorites from Disney, such as Toy Story and Stitch, as well as Sanrio characters Hello Kitty, Care Bears and One Piece.

The brand said it plans further growth in all three countries to house its newest stores. Overall, the chain currently consists of about 7800 stores, including 2700 outside its home country. By 2027, Miniso plans to have 10,000 stores, with much of that growth coming in Europe and North America.
