Reebok Intl. Ltd. (Canton, Mass.) is set to open its first “Rbk” concept store in downtown Philadelphia at 414 South St. on Friday, Nov. 29. The store represents Reebok's first interactive shopping experience, debuting its latest gear alongside DJs spinning tracks.

Sticking with its Sounds & Rhythm of Sport brand campaign, Reebok continues to fuse music, sports and entertainment in Rbk, also the name of Reebok's street-inspired footwear and apparel collections. The store will feature culturally relevant product, representing a mix of urban fashion, athletic artistry and hip-hop attitude. The retail environment includes a lounge area and VIP room, which will feature regular appearances by well-known DJs.

“For the first time ever, a store has been created to offer a culturally connected experience,” says Larry Gore, Reebok's senior vp of global retail. “Our premier Rbk store will be an exciting destination for consumers to relax, listen to music and hang out while doing some shopping at one of the coolest spots in town.”

Reebok is a designer, marketer and distributor of sports, fitness and casual footwear, apparel and equipment under the Reebok, Rockport, and Greg Norman Brands and footwear under the Polo Ralph Lauren Brand. It operates more than 200 retail stores.
