Department store giant Nordstrom (Seattle) announced in a company press release Tuesday that a new Nordstrom Rack store is planned to open in Encinitas, Calif.

The 24,000-square-foot store in Encinitas, which is located outside of San Diego, is set to open spring 2026 at El Camino Promenade where several other retailers are housed including TJ Maxx, Five Below and Dollar Tree.

“We’re excited to grow our footprint in the San Diego market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience,” says Gemma Lionello, President of Nordstrom Rack.
