Nordstrom (Seattle) has transformed its flagship on 57th Street in New York City with its “Wonder All the Way” campaign and corresponding display dubbed “The Blizz on 57th Street,” according to a company press release.

The window displays feature inflatable characters voiced by icons Fran Drescher and John Waters. Inside the store, other playful characters (like a fortune-telling pigeon named Pigeonthia) greet guests as they’re guided through the store using a treasure map. A “collect-them-all” sticker book along with the map encourages exploration and provides the opportunity to win prizes.

The concept was conceived by an array of industry veterans and experts including Matthew Mazzuca, former Creative Director of Barneys; Thom Betteridge, Editor-in-Chief of i-D Magazine; Anthony Ferrara, illustrator and animator; Desi Santiago, artist and production designer; Justinian Kfoury of Total Management and Gian Gisiger, the graphic designer for Balenciaga.
