Now Accepting Submissions: VMSD’s 2026 Designer Dozen

VMSD magazine celebrates the best and brightest young designers in retail design with its annual VMSD Designer Dozen. These 12 emerging stars (age 35 and under) recognized in our March/April issue, represent retailers, designers and visual merchandisers from retail organizations and design firms nationwide and internationally. With an emphasis on mentorship and stewardship to the industry, these rising stars are nominated by colleagues, co-workers, peers or can even be self-nominated. We are now accepting submissions with the first deadline taking place January 9.

Winners receive a highlight in VMSD magazine, a physical award commemorating their win, and are celebrated on-site during IRDC 2026.
