The Taco Bell in Cantina, Calif., has long been known for its views of the Pacific ocean. And now operator Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG, Sonoma, Calif.) has taken the wraps off an updated interior and exterior look at the eatery to make the most of its scenic setting, including an indoor-outdoor bar and expanded patio seating.

“We take great pride in owning one of the most iconic Taco Bell locations in the world,” said DRG President and CEO SG Ellison. “… With these upgrades, we’re enhancing the Pacifica Cantina, bringing together stunning ocean views with Taco Bell favorites, an elevated drink menu and improved convenience. The result is a destination where guests can enjoy an experience that they’ll want to return to again and again.”

Upcoming upgrades at the site will include the installation of a second walk-up ordering window at the front of the restaurant, to complement an existing one on the other side, and a redesigned patio area with new furniture and outdoor heaters for guests dining al fresco.

DRG started as a limited partnership in a 30-unit Taco Bell franchise in 2012, and has since grown into a 350-unit, QSR operation of Taco Bell and Arby’s restaurants in Nevada, California, Kansas, Missouri and Alaska.
