With a dramatic transformation of its restaurant on the bustling Gujie Street in Beijing, Duyiwei Grilled Fish offers guests a new dining experience. Glass and steel provide an industrial to enhance the architecture of the space while blurring the lines between the restaurant’s interior and exterior. With a rooftop terrace, diners also can enjoy the surrounding nature and views of the city. Colors like terracotta, metallic materials and skylights give the indoor space warmth and natural lighting while exuding a futuristic feel. This remodel aims to target Beijing’s young professionals and use its unique industrial architecture as part of its design identity.
