A visual focal point in East Coast Cannabis is the red canopy shaped to appear as a mountain range.

EAST COAST CANNABIS opened its flagship in Eliot, Maine, earlier this year. Designed by Winter Holben (Kittery, Maine), the store reflects the brand’s value for the local community with a welcoming environment that aims to feel more like a boutique than a traditional dispensary. Balancing a warm atmosphere with sleek, contemporary design, the flagship features an open layout, bright pops of color, clean architectural lines and custom fixtures and millwork. At the center is a red, mountain-shaped canopy that serves as a sculptural focal point, inspired by Maine’s rugged landscape. Visitors will find references to the brand’s “We Are Maine” mantra throughout the store to celebrate East Coast Cannabis’ local roots.
