On Our Radar: Ralph Lauren, San Francisco

AFTER FIVE YEARS of absence, Ralph Lauren (New York) returns to San Francisco with a new Polo Ralph Lauren location in the city’s Jackson Square Historic District. Embellished by hand-painted gold leaf and brass signage, the dark green storefront welcomes guests into an open, loft-like interior layout. The stained oak floors, white-painted brick walls and an open wood joist ceiling showcase the historic building’s architectural craftsmanship and evoke the bespoke vintage aesthetic of the Ralph Lauren brand. Decorative wall art, reclaimed antique fixtures and millwork cases add accents of warm charm.
