Inspired by California’s Sequoia trees, this restaurant invites guests into a comfortable yet modern space

SEKOYA LOUNGE & KITCHEN, recently opened in Palo Alto’s historic shopping district, draws inspiration from California’s iconic Sequoia trees by incorporating wooden and organic elements into the space. Designed by Cass Calder Smith Architecture + Interiors, the sleek, artistic lighting, a large gathering table made of reclaimed wood and a glowing marble bar invite guests into the comfortable space, connecting them to California’s natural beauty. The space also includes a terrace with outdoor seating, allowing guests to enjoy the sunny Palo Alto weather.
