THIS APRIL 18, the VMSD staff attended a Press Review at Timberland’s new global flagship store located at 550 Broadway in New York’s SoHo. Attendees were able to preview the fall/winter 2023 collection and experience customization and personalization in store.

The new locale features “The Shed” – a reference to Timberland’s exclusive prototyping maker space and lab located at its headquarters – which supports free on-site product customization and personalization for customer purchases, like heat pressing, laser etching and embroidery. Boot repair and cleaning services are also available for members.

Stay tuned to an upcoming issue of VMSD where we’ll be diving more in-depth into the SoHo store’s concept and design.

Hear from Bevan Bloemendaal, former VP, Global Environments & Creative Services at Timberland, how to connect the dots between disciplines, claiming and creating a clear differentiation for the brand and ensuring that any asset (experience, product, ad, store, office, home, video, game) is created with intention.
