Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. (Anaheim, Calif.) has announced that Seth Johnson will become coo and join its board on Nov. 1, 2004. He will transition to ceo in April 2005.

Johnson was most recently coo of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (New Albany, Ohio).

Greg Weaver will remain chairman and ceo until April, and then transition to executive chairman of the board.

Prior to joining Abercrombie & Fitch in 1992, Johnson worked with The Limited, BATUS Retail Group and Dayton Hudson Inc. during a 26-year retail career.
