Ralph Lauren Corp. (New York) has unveiled a new fitting room in its New York Polo Ralph Lauren flagship store on Fifth Avenue.

Called the “Oak Fitting Room,” it features an interactive mirror with a built-in touchscreen that customers can use to request a different size, select corresponding items or to request an associate’s assistance. The Fifth Avenue flagship features eight of these full-size, touch-screen mirrors. Four mirrors are in women’s fitting rooms, and the other half are in the store’s men’s fitting rooms.

Ralph Lauren has purchased an additional eight units that will be debuted in other high-performing stores next month.

Developed by Oak Labs (San Francisco), the technology is being utilized as a way to enhance customers’ in-store experiences, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
