Family/fashion retailer Primark (Dublin) is opening its first two stores in Tennessee. The first has opened at the Wolfchase Galleria in Memphis, and the second will be at the CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin.

Those openings represent Primark’s 31st and 32nd U.S. stores in its 13th state. “Bringing Primark to Tennessee is a proud and exciting milestone for us,” said Kevin Tulip, President of Primark US, as it marks another step in the chain’s ongoing expansion in the South, including announcements earlier this year for stores in South Carolina, Texas and Georgia.

The Memphis store spans 35,600 square feet and offers fashion, everyday essentials, homeware and beauty favorites at low prices. Founded in Ireland in 1969 and originally operating under the Penneys brand, Primark has grown to have 450-plus locales in 16 European countries and the U.S.
