Ralph Lauren (New York) has returned to downtown San Francisco, the retailer announced on its LinkedIn account. Its newest store is in that city’s historic Jackson Square District.

The store features both men’s and women’s Polo Ralph Lauren and Double RL items, along with hand-selected vintage apparel and accessories.

Lauren officials said the store, at 441 Jackson St., is “set behind a bespoke dark green painted storefront, accented by hand-painted gold leaf and brass signage” whose inside features a “soft, loft-like layout that showcases stained-oak floors, white-painted brick walls and an open-wood joist ceiling.”

In its coverage of the news, KRON4-TV reported that Lauren’s previous downtown locales include one at 2040 Fillmore Street, which closed in 2020, and another in the Crocker Galleria that was shuttered in 2013.

“This opening reinforces our continued focus on our key city ecosystem approach, which includes strengthening our West Coast presence,” a spokesperson told the station.
