Gap Inc. (San Francisco) announced that Tom Keiser joined the company as executive vp and chief information officer.

Harris Corp. (Cincinnati), an international communications and information technology company, has added Carre Dawson and Rebecca Walt to its Broadcast Communications digital signage team. Both will serve as directors of business development, with Dawson focused on North America’s western region and Walt on the eastern region.

Halco Lighting Technologies (Norcross, Ga.) has hired Jan McQuain as its national accounts manager.

Cache Inc. (New York), a specialty chain of women’s apparel stores, announced that Lusia Moskvicheva has joined the company as senior vp – concept, trend and design.

Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI, Seattle), a retail co-op providing outdoor gear and clothing, announced plans to open a new store in Norwalk, Conn., in fall 2010.

BUSINESS BRIEFS

Amerlux Global Lighting Solutions (Fairfield, N.J.), which provides architectural grade energy-efficient lighting solutions, announced that it supplied its Amerlux Evoke brand of architectural light fittings to the 2717-foot tall, soon-to-be-renamed Burj Khalifa Bin Zayed, the world’s tallest building built by Emaar Properties PJSC, which officially opened in Dubai on January 5.

Two Washington, D.C., architecture practices, Michael Winstanley Architects Planners & Still & Svitchan Associates, have joined Mancini Duffy’s D.C. office, which is now operating as Mancini Duffy/Winstanley.
