A trio of restaurant concepts spanning the spectrum of establishments have recently opened new outlets. They are:

Claudio’s Bahamas (Paradise Island), which has debuted at Atlantis Paradise Island. The new restaurant is a sister to one in Greenport, N.Y. In a news release, project backers note its nautical-oriented interior design “features soothing blue hues, natural wood tones and expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows. The dining room is centered around an interactive display of colorful fiberglass sailboats suspended from the ceiling… and leads to a large patio and shaded gazebo bar, offering lagoon views and sunset vistas.”

Mohegan Sun (Uncasville, Conn.), which says it is “delivering a fresh take on destination dining” with the introduction of four new venues: The Farm Italy, Beauty & Essex, The Shed Restaurant and SIFT Bake Shop & A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons. “From a speakeasy-style supper club to a bakery from a James Beard semifinalist, these concepts have added renewed energy to our destination and are giving guests even more reasons to choose Mohegan Sun,” said Jeff Hamilton, President and General Manager of the casino/entertainment/dining/hotel complex.

Roy Rogers Restaurants (Frederick, Md.) will return to Cherry Hill, N.J., on June 25. The Western-themed, 3300-square-foot eatery “features several enhancements designed to elevate the guest experience, including a drive-thru and expanded indoor and outdoor seating,” the chain said in a press release. According to published reports, Roy Rogers once had three outlets in the South Jersey town in the ’90s, but they were closed as the chain went through several owners and a major downsizing over the years. Founded in 1968 and named after the one-time “King of the Cowboys” of movie and TV fame, the chain now has 24 company-owned restaurants and 16 franchise ones in seven states.
