Two retailers and two restaurant chains recently recorded significant markers in their ongoing growth. They are:

Dollar Tree (Chesapeake, Va.), which has opened its 9000th store, in Plano, Texas. The new store features the brand’s latest store format, which is “designed to enhance the shopping experience, with an expanded product selection and updated layouts to make it easier than ever to explore all that Dollar Tree has to offer,” the retailer said in a news release.

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot (Rockville, Md.), which has taken the wraps off its 100th restaurant, in Woodbridge, N.J. The chain recently ran a large-scale celebratory video about that event in New York’s Times Square.

Moe’s Southwest Grill (Atlanta), which marked its 25th anniversary by recording a fourth consecutive year of growth, including hitting a record average unit volume (AUV) of just over $1.2 million in 2024. A unit of GoTo Foods, Moe’s has a total of 580-plus locations, including 24 that opened over the past year. (Its franchise development pipeline currently stands at 120 signed agreements in various stages of completion.)

Wayfair Inc. (Boston), celebrated the first anniversary of its first-ever physical store in suburban Chicago by unveiling plans for its third such large-format locale, in Yonkers, N.Y. (The brand’s second store is slated to open next year in Atlanta.) The Yonkers locale will have about 114,000 square feet of space and feature 19 departments showcasing furniture, décor, outdoor living, home improvement and more.
