VP goes from one designer brand to the other

Robbin Mitchell, previously senior vp of strategic brand development for Tommy Hilfiger Corp., has joined Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. as vp of licensee development. She will be responsible for new business proposals and licensee reviews, reporting to Doug Williams, group president, global business development.

At Tommy Hilfiger, Mitchell was responsible for developing strategic initiatives for the company's wholesale and licensed divisions. And before that, there was Giorgio and Calvin. She had been senior vp, strategic logistics, identifying and implementing planning, logistics and supply chain related solutions for GFT USA's operating divisions (Giorgio Armani Le Collezioni, Valentino and Calvin Klein Men's apparel).
