Shack Shake Ups Expansion Plans: The New York-based restaurant chain says it will eventually open as many as 1500 locales, up from the 450 it estimated upon completion of its initial public offering a decade ago. Born in 2004, the company now has 550 locations system-wide, including over 350 in 33 U.S. States and the District of Columbia, and over 200 international locations across London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Mexico City, Istanbul, Dubai, Tokyo, Seoul and elsewhere.

Dave & Buster’s to Make Mexican Debut : Entering into a franchise agreement with Winclub Mexico, Dave & Buster’s (Dallas) has unveiled plans to enter the Mexican market with plans for 10 locations across key cities. The first of those locales is slated to open in Mexico City by the end of this year. Founded in 1982, Dave & Buster’s Entertainment Inc. operates more than 200 venues globally, offering a blend of dining, drinking, gaming and socializing.

Gordon Ramsay Opens Canadian Steak House: The celebrity chef’s Gordon Ramsay North America business has teamed with Great Canadian Entertainment to open the Gordon Ramsay Steak at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, B.C.
