Sweet Dreams

Oversized books are the main attraction of a vibrant, children-themed area

X+LIVING (SHANGHAI) recently collaborated with diversified holdings group China Resources Co. Ltd. to create impossible-to-miss installations in the public areas of Guangxi, China-based The Mixc Nanning shopping center. Dubbed Mixc Wonderland, the installation in the children-themed area (shown) features larger-than-life elements including gigantic books – their spines facing outward as if resting on a shelf – amongst a slew of vibrant patterns. Hear from Bevan Bloemendaal, former VP, Global Environments & Creative Services at Timberland, how to connect the dots between disciplines, claiming and creating a clear differentiation for the brand and ensuring that any asset (experience, product, ad, store, office, home, video, game) is created with intention.
