Reebok Expands in India

Plans to add 15 fitness studios

Reebok Intl. Ltd. (Canton, Mass.) announced this week it will open 15 new fitness studios by the end of 2016.

In addition to selling Reebok's merchandise, each fitness studio — dubbed “FitHub” — will offer yoga, aerobics and other types of workout instruction.

Currently, there are 300 Reebok stores in India and 130 of them are FitHub stores, according to Business Today. Reebok India brand director Somdeb Basu said the company plans to convert all its existing stores into the FitHub format by mid-2017.
