Target’s Kathee Tesija Steps Down

Target Corp. (Minneapolis) announced that Kathee Tesija, chief merchandising officer, will step down from her position with the company. Effective July 6, she will stay in an advisory role until next April.

Bloomberg Business reports the company has begun the search for a replacement. Brian Cornell, the company’s new ceo, will assume responsibility for Tesija’s team until a new chief merchandising officer is selected.

In her role with Target, Tesija was responsible for selecting the chain’s products. Her next career move has not yet been announced.
