TEAVARO GLOBAL BREWHOUSE, designed by The Melange Studio (New Delhi) in the Punjabi Bagh neighborhood of Delhi, is breaking the traditional perception of tea among millennials and Gen Z with its new-age, vibrant and trendy design.

As visitors enter the 500-square-foot brewhouse, they are greeted by arched windows, metallic highlights and bright accent colors like corals, spearmint greens and banana yellows. These details are paired with warm wood shelving and gray terrazzo tiles, all set against a free-flowing layout that intends to bring visual calmness to the space. Handmade yellow square tiles are also featured in the interior, recalling the brand’s first location and serving as a backdrop to the counter and a feature wall.

The second Teavaro Brewhouse to open, this location provides “amphitheatre-like” outdoor seating in front, guiding visitors inside where arched windows let in abundant natural light, creating a space close to nature – a critical design goal. “This not only provides a refreshing environment for guests, but also aligns with the modern trend of biophilic design,” says Pravi Jain, Principal Designer, Co-Founder, The Melange Studio. This strategy “enhances the importance of integrating natural elements into urban spaces to improve well-being and comfort.”

With its trendy aesthetic and calming atmosphere, Teavaro Brewhouse aims to welcome young tea drinkers by “introducing them to global tea trends and making tea culture aspirational, yet accessible,” says Jain. — Emma Helbling
