Cadillac, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-based rendering platform supplier Zerolight have partnered to demo a web-based shopping platform for vehicles at CES in Las Vegas, according to a press release. The demo showcases personalized digital experiences designed to guide the customer through the car-purchase journey.

The four-stage process begins at the point of awareness and consideration, where a personalized digital ad drives users to the Amazon Vehicles page, where they can select their vehicle’s color, wheels and interior using a 3D configuration tool. A personalized video of their selected configuration along with still images is stored on the cloud and can be accessed via ipad for further customization. The shopper can also experience their vehicle via AR/VR tools in the dealership and leaves with a customized digital brochure in hand.
