Dallas-based The Container Store will expand its footprint in Florida with three new locations planned for 2013 in Orlando, Tampa and Boca Raton. The storage and organization products retailer has two Florida stores, in Hallandale Beach and Miami.

The Orlando store at the Mall at Millenia is expected to open in the spring 2013 and will occupy 25,000 square feet. In Tampa, a 25,000-square-foot store will be located one block south of International Plaza Mall. The Boca Raton location will occupy 21,000 square feet in Town Center Boca Raton (connected to mall with interior entrance).

“The Container Store is extremely deliberate in selecting A+ real estate sites across the country surrounded by a dense population of our time- and space-starved customers,” says Kip Tindell, chairman and ceo of The Container Store.

The retailer's store environment organizes 10,000 products within 16 signature lifestyle departments, including closet, kitchen, office, travel, gift packaging and laundry.
