The Container Store Plotting 76 New Stores by 2027

The retailer just notched record highs in annual sales and profitability

The Container Store (Coppell, TX) is planning to open 76 new stores by the end of fiscal 2027, the company announced as part of its fiscal Q4 sales report.

Those new doors include smaller-format locations in Colorado Springs, CO and Salem, NH, which will cut their ribbons in the second half of 2022. The Container Store currently operates 94 locations.

The retailer just reported its highest full-year sales in history of $1.1 billion, up 10.5% over a year ago. Net income also reached a record high of $81.7 million in 2021, up from $58.3 million the prior year.
