Tommy Hilfiger Returns to the West Coast

Brand opens flagship on Robertson Boulevard

Tommy Hilfiger (Cheung Sha Wan, Hong Kong) has opened a flagship on Robertson Boulevard, Los Angeles this past Monday, according to Women’s Wear Daily. The brand considers this a “re-launch” of its presence on the West Coast since its 20,000-square-foot Rodeo Drive space closed in 2001.

Aesthetically, the space is designed to pair Hilfiger’s classic American vibe with a relaxed West Coast attitude, according to WWD. Tiles with Tommy Hilfiger’s signature navy framed with antique brass trim wrap around the exterior. The interior consists of two main rooms, one for women’s apparel and the other for men’s and children’s items. Throughout the space, the floor comprises light wood herringbone and bright, white walls. The room meant for men and children differs with exposed wood trusses and a Quonset hut roof line. Other decorative elements, WWD reports, include anchors, sails, a vintage guitar and an old movie reel.
